Green's Park

Green’s Park is a 2-acre park located at 66 S Park Boulevard, off of M-24, south of Flint Street. This is the Village’s only park on Lake Orion, with about 560 feet of frontage. The park is one block from shopping & dining in downtown. Public boat docks are available at Green's Park and also a short distance from Green's Park at Pelton's Point.  Boat dock passes are required to use the docks and are available for purchase at the Village office.  Use of the boat docks is regulated by the village's boat dock ordinance.

Green's Park provides a public swimming beach.  Park daily and seasonal passes are available and can be purchased at the Village office.  The Department of Public Works maintains and oversees Green's Park and the beach. The beach is sampled and tested  for E. Coli bacteria by the Oakland County Health Division consistent with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Public Bathing Beach Law (Public Act 368 of 1978).  The most recent test results, historical beach closure data, and other important information are available on EGLE's BeachGuard System.  For more information on the Village's stormwater management efforts to help keep our lakes and waterways clean, please visit our stormwater management page.

Children should be accompanied by parent or guardian. A park attendant will be available Monday through Thursday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon until 8:00 p.m. The restroom facilities will be open when a park attendant is working. 

Animals are not allowed in Green’s Park. The park has a basketball hoop, picnic tables, kayak and paddle board rentals, water fountains, grills, benches and bike racks. The beach area is enclosed by a u-shaped dock that extends out into Lake Orion.  

Alcohol is not allowed at Green's Park.
