The Village of Lake Orion receives certain constitutional and statutory revenue sharing payments from the State of Michigan from state sales and use tax receipts. To be eligible to receive the full funding under the state revenue sharing program, the village must file annual City-Village-Township Revenue Sharing (CVTRS) reports with the Michigan Department of Treasury in accordance with state law.
